Residential Care

Residential care is best suited to residents who can live independently for a majority of the time but who may require assistance on occasion. At Kingsacre Care Home, our luxury modern home is perfect for individuals who are wanting to spend their time with others who share similar interests and where their daily chores are dealt with.

Residents who live at our home can take advantage of the social opportunities that group living provides while still maintaining their independence and having the freedom to carry out their daily hobbies. Nursing Care

The nursing care at Kingsacre provides residents who need around-the-clock care with specialist care and support by a team of qualified nurses. Residents with physical limitations, those with a high level of dependency, or individuals who need palliative care will receive 24-hour care designed to improve quality of life at our nursing home.

Every resident will be appointed their own nurse who will get to know them on a personal level as well as their friends and family, to obtain a full understanding of their needs in order to provide the most effective care. We understand that care needs may change over time in most circumstances, and so our nursing team will regularly assess residents’ and adjust their care if required.

Dementia Care

Our friendly purpose-built care home is well-equipped to provide dementia care. For those suffering with loss of memory, care can be provided to manage the symptoms that come with the condition. We support our residents’ unique situations to ensure their needs are being looked after. We work alongside their families to develop a care plan that encourages independence and provides experiences where residents are comfortable and content.

From the daily activities being provided to the way our home has been designed, the team at Kingsacre Care understand what is required to accommodate the specific needs of individuals living with dementia. Our compassionate staff goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel safe, respected, and relaxed in their environment

Respite Care

Respite care is a great care alternative for those in need of short-term care. This can be used to provide a break from caregiving, where the person in need of care can be looked after by our team for a duration of time while the carer has time to themselves.

Kingsacre’s respite care option can benefit those who need somewhere to recuperate following an injury or sickness. Respite care can also be used to trial a care home before making the permanent move. Like with all our types of care, every person will be assessed to determine the level of care required for their situation.

We Are Here For You

Knowing whether someone’s next step is to move to a care home, and finding care homes that are suitable can often be a tricky decision. The helpful team at Kingsacre will happily sit down to discuss yours or your loved one’s needs to decipher an appropriate care method such as residential, nursing, dementia or respite care.

Kingsacre is regularly inspected by the Care Inspectorate who are a scrutiny body that regulate and inspect the quality of care of health and social care services in Scotland. The Care Inspectorate also helps to make necessary changes when required. We are proud to provide high-quality care to residents, so loved ones can rest assured each individual’s needs are fully met.
