Life at Kingsacre

Luxury Rooms 

Our beautiful nursing home in Clydebank, set in spectacular countryside gardens, has been known over the years to drastically improve our resident’s quality of life, and we’ve worked hard to create a pleasant place for all of our residents to live and call “home”. All of our rooms come with state-of-the-art healthcare assistance, telephones, flat-screen televisions and high-speed Internet access, as well as many suites that benefit from direct access to our courtyard and stunning garden areas. 

These rooms are also fully equipped with a private en-suite bathroom. Our residents are also encouraged to bring with them as many personal effects as they may wish to, including furniture if that would make them feel a little more at home. We really do understand how difficult it can be when planning your future or the future of somebody you care dearly about. This is why we are so glad that we can help our residents and their families in any way that we can.

Arts & Crafts

Participating in group activities while at Kingsacre Care Home here with us is a great way to make new friends and get a little creative while you’re there. This is especially true when you attend one of our fantastic arts and crafts sessions. There is always something new and interesting for our residents to try their hand at, from painting to designing impressive sculptures all the way through to collaging.

Private Gardens 

All residents are allowed to take part in as many outdoor activities as they would like to in our beautiful private garden, from planting new flowers and seeds to tending to those that have already begun to bloom. All of our residents are encouraged to enjoy gardening and all of its benefits. At Kingsacre Care Home, gardening is a great opportunity for all of our residents to meet new people and potentially try out a new skill they’d never think to try before. We also regularly host summer events where staff, residents, and their loved ones can come together for a day of social fun.

Libraries

There’s no place like Kingsacre Care Home if you’re a total bookworm. As the nights begin to draw in, rest assured that all four of our libraries are fully stocked with plenty of books for you to enjoy, as well as almost as many cosy reading seats for you to claim and snuggle up in. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to what to read next in our libraries, so take your time to choose what adventure to immerse yourself in next.
