We’re proud to be able to serve our residents high-quality, nutritional meals and in a setting of their choice. Here at Kingsacre Care Home, we recognise the role a great dining experience plays in making sure residents are as happy as they can be, and our on-site chefs and catering team continually provide a variety of meals that help us to achieve just that.

Residents will find an enticing and varied menu on offer each day. Our onsite chef and his team cater for food preferences, nutritional and dietary requirements. All meals are freshly prepared by our in-house chef who can meet any special dietary requirements, aiming to accommodate all tastes and requirements.

Friends and family are welcome at any time to dine with us, and we have a private dining room available for families to enjoy quality time together. Our wonderful meals, paired with our comfortable dining facilities, make for the most enjoyable dining experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We encourage all of our residents to embrace all the good things that group living has to offer. We treasure the time we get to spend with our residents during mealtimes, as it gives us the chance to really connect with them and is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a social experience.

If, for any reason, one of our residents would prefer to not participate in the group dining experience, they are most welcome to eat in the comfort and privacy of their own room. Assistance will always be provided to those residents who need it here at Kingsacre Care Home, and if one of our residents struggles with certain aspects of eating by themselves, a member of our dedicated team will be more than happy to lend a helping hand.

Residents’ loved ones are always welcome to join us during our mealtimes. Whether they’d like to join us in one of our communal dining areas, or they’d prefer to enjoy their meals in their own rooms, everyone is welcome. Mealtimes at Kingsacre Care Home are so important to us, and we work hard to ensure every resident can enjoy their meals.

Here at Kingsacre, we strive to ensure residents, their friends and family members are assured in knowing our friendly and skilled staff are available to provide assistance and care every day, which extends to meal times. We believe that creating a dining space that promotes a calming atmosphere is an important part in establishing a perfect dining experience for our residents living with dementia. From ensuring all dining areas are clutter-free, and have specialised cutlery and crockery to help our residents maintain a high level of independence, we have considered every detail.

Our culinary team, including our on-site chef and skilled cooks, continually engages in training to ensure they provide our residents with delicious and nutritious meals. They maintain close communication with our residents taking careful note of their preferences to create dishes that satisfy everyone.

Residents have many spaces to choose from for dining including our communal and private dining rooms, personal bedrooms, and if the weather permits, outside in the garden.

Residents have full control over what they eat during each meal when they choose from our extensive and varied menu. You can choose from the menus provided, or you can chat with our kitchen staff to see what alternatives are available. Our team will be pleased to discuss any special dietary requirements or food changes with you.
