Residential Care

Our residents’ health, happiness, and ultimately, comfort are our top priorities here at Kingsacre Care Home. Our staff take great pride in assisting residents who are finding it increasingly difficult to care for themselves while still living at home.

Our service has always and will continue to provide a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere in which individuals can benefit from the social aspects of group living while still managing to maintain their freedom thanks to a customised care plan and our incredible teams. Speaking of, our care teams are trained to provide as much or as little assistance as each and every one of our residents at Kingsacre Care Home requires, regardless of their reasons behind joining us.

Quality Care at Kingsacre Care Home

At Kingsacre Care Home, we provide around-the-clock care in a comfortable setting. All of our employees at our luxury residential care home have the relevant skills and training to offer you or your loved one the best service possible. Every single one of our carers will be trained to at least SVQ 2 level, meaning our residents won’t have to worry about a thing.

Our teams  will always respect your right to make independent decisions and will continually customise and update your care package to match your specific needs. Our teams of professional specialists will constantly work with you to create a personal plan that outlines every one of your preferences, as well as how they will be handled in a manner that you feel acceptable in the future.

The Residential Care We Strive to Provide

Every six weeks, your care and support needs will be reviewed at a Care and Support Meeting, at which you and your representative will be invited to join our Care Team to discuss your care requirements and the future steps surrounding them. At any time, you will be encouraged to offer your thoughts on any and every area of the care facility. Our Home Manager constantly maintains an ‘Open Door’ policy and is available for residents and their families to talk to both during and after office hours.

At Kingsacre Care Home, we understand that some individuals might believe that choosing to live in a residential care facility should only be considered a “very last choice”. That making this is a decision should only happen when someone such as yourself or a loved one is terminally sick or incapable of caring for themselves. However, we want to highlight that this is simply not the case, and that there are numerous benefits to living in a care facility such as Kingsacre Care Home.

Understanding Residential Care at Kingsacre Care Home

Prior to their arrival, we enjoy spending time with each new resident and their family to ensure that Kingsacre Care Home is the very best place for them. We also want to ensure that a personalised care plan can be created for them, and we can’t do that if we don’t know our residents almost as well as we know ourselves. We have a courteous, incredibly compassionate team who can assist you and customise your care plan as needed if your care needs change over time.

Residential Care Inclusives

If you or a loved one is finding it difficult to live alone, or if living alone is beginning to have a negative impact on your emotional or physical health, residential care may be a good option to consider. Residential care, sometimes known as a group living arrangement, can definitely make a significant difference to the lives of our residents. This type of care is ideal for people who occasionally require a little additional assistance in order to continue doing the things they like, but on the whole can manage living life largely unattended.

Prioritising the Health, Safety & Wellbeing of Our Residents

Regardless of the challenges we’ve experienced in recent years, one thing has always remained constant: we will always prioritise the security, health, and integrity of the members of our community above all else. Despite the fact that we’ve all faced unanticipated problems over the years, we’ve always put our residents’ and their families’ well-being first. At Kingsacre Care Home, we believe that everyone deserves a happy and fulfilled life, as well as the assurance that they can seek help if they need it.

Providing High Quality Care is Our Priority

Our residents, as well as their loved ones, show us how tough and determined they are every day, and that’s just one of the many things we like about them. We believe in the power of facing any and every challenge that comes our way head on, just as much as we believe in the power of knowing when to ask for help. That’s why every day, Kingsacre Care Home is dedicated to assisting our residents in any way we can, because no one should have to face their challenges alone, no matter what stage of life they’re at.

How to know if Residential Care is the Right Option?

A large number of our facilities and additional services are included within the cost of your stay at Kingsacre Care Home. Every resident will have access to appropriate and high-quality medical treatment, which will be tailored to their specific circumstances. The following services will be provided to each and every one of residents:

Regular Dentist Appointments

Residents who might need more dental care will have total access to a local dentist, and these appointments will be paid for as part of their stay at Kingsacre Care Home.

Scheduled Physiotherapy Sessions

Physiotherapy treatments, which can be scheduled through a GP or privately, can help our people regain their sense of self-identity and gain the mobility they might have once lost.

Organised Optician Appointments

All residents of the Kingsacre Care Home can have any vision-related concerns handled by an optician as part of their living fees. Both internal and external appointments are available.

24/7 Access to a GP

Residents will be able to schedule and attend doctor’s appointments on their own or with the assistance of a staff member if that’s how they would prefer to do so.

Private Care Home Chiropodist

Every six weeks, a private chiropodist visits Kingsacre Care Home, however residents can also have their own private NHS Chiropodist if more frequent visits are required.

Uplifting & Inspiring Our Residents

At Kingsacre Care Home, we like getting to know our residents on a more personal level so that we can provide the very best individualised care we can, as well as provide them with activities that we know they will enjoy. Our ultimate goal is to establish a friendly environment where people can follow their passions and live without limits, where their thoughts and opinions are always welcomed. At Kingsacre Care Home, we work hard as a team to provide excellent care, support and services to all of our residents, and we always want to go above and beyond to make sure they all have the life they deserve to live.
