Kingsacre Residents Attend Local School Musical

Our residents recently had the pleasure of attending Matilda the Musical Jr. at Clydebank High School - and it was a hit! The visit was full of music, laughter, and warm welcomes, leaving residents smiling from ear to ear.
The outing formed part of our ongoing commitment to supporting residents to remain active in the community. Trips like this not only offer something different and exciting, but also help foster a real sense of connection and joy. And this one certainly didn’t disappoint.
From the moment they arrived, residents were treated with kindness and respect. The Clydebank High School team welcomed everyone warmly, guiding them to their seats and taking time to chat both before and after the show.

As for the performance itself? One resident described it simply as “amazing”, while another commented that “the kids were fantastic” - and we couldn’t agree more. The students’ energy and talent lit up the stage, and it was a real treat for our residents to enjoy live theatre in such a vibrant and inclusive setting.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Clydebank High School for their hospitality and for inviting us along. Everyone at Kingsacre Care Home is extremely grateful for the opportunity to attend, and we’re already looking forward to future events together.
These community links mean a great deal to our home. Being able to attend local performances, speak with young people, and share in events like this makes a lasting impact on wellbeing and quality of life for our residents.
