Egg-citing Easter Fun at Kingsacre Care Home

In the lead up to Easter, residents and staff at Kingsacre Care Home have been embracing the season through our vibrant activities programme.
A highlight of our Easter celebrations have been our arts and crafts session. Residents have loved expressing themselves through these themed, creative activities, using beautiful spring colours and imagery of bunnies and decorated eggs. As the golden sun shone through our windows, residents were full of smiles and laughter as they chatted away and painted joyful scenes.

Creative activities continue to play an important role in daily life at Kingsacre. They offer not only enjoyment but also clear therapeutic benefits, supporting wellbeing, encouraging conversation and offering opportunities for reminiscence about treasured memories with loved ones. It has been inspiring and lovely to see the sense of achievement in our finished work, displayed proudly throughout our home.
Marking seasonal events in our calendars with these celebrations helps connect residents with their local community, providing a sense of belonging and purpose. We make sure that all our activities are accessible and tailored to the abilities of every residents, meaning that no matter what Easter means to them, everyone can get involved in the excitement.

Celebrating spring gives residents a sense of purpose and hope, as we look forward to the brighter summer months ahead. We can’t wait for meals enjoyed in our garden, summer parties with family and trips into the community in our new minibus.
If you’d like to join the Kingsacre community, please arrange a home tour to chat with our friendly staff about how we can support you and your family. You can also stay up to date with all of the fun at our Clydebank care home by following us on social media.
