Residents at Golden Friendship Club

Golden Friendships Club

We have introduced our residents to the Golden Friendships Club held at the Clydebank Community Hall. The club is run by a community organisation that provides the perfect opportunity for residents to meet with others of a similar age within the community, as well as play games and get their bodies moving.

Each session is themed for visitors to look forward to new and exciting activities, from Karaoke to charity fundraisers, fitness and dance, bingo, and much more.

Residents had a blast dancing to songs from their past accompanied by staff and relatives which was so wonderful to see with big smiles on their faces.

At Kingsacre we believe it's so important to provide residents with opportunities to socialise with others both inside and outside of the home. This provides both emotional and physical benefits for residents who are physically able, as they can walk around and get up and dance if they wish to. In addition to this, being around loved ones and like-minded individuals stimulates positive emotions in residents.

We look forward to attending the next session in November, following a successful first visit.
